演講主題：A triple combination gemcitabine plus romidepsin + cisplatin to effectively control triple-negative breast cancer tumor development, recurrence, and metastasis.
Bio：
Dr. Hwa-Chain R. Wang is a Full Professor (retired 2021) of Molecular Oncology at University of Tennessee (Knoxville, USA). He received his MS degree in Viral Infectious Diseases/Immunology from Auburn University (Auburn, Alabama, USA) in 1984 and his PhD degree in Oncogenes/Molecular Biology from the University of Virginia Health Center (Charlottesville, VA, USA) in 1989. He received his postdoctoral training in Cell Signaling/Biochemistry with Dr. Raymond Erikson at Harvard University (Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA) from 1990-1992; then, he was appointed as a Research Associate pursuing s novel cell signaling pathways until 1994. Dr. Wang was appointed as a Research Scientist at assistant professor level by the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center (Columbus, Ohio, USA) (1994-1997). He was appointed as an Associate Professor by University of Tennessee in 1997, tenured in 2003, and promoted to a Fully Professor in 2010. He has served as PIs conducting independent research projects, funded by NIH, NSF, ACS, and other agencies, since 1995. He has served as grant and program reviewers for funding agencies at state, national, and federal levels for >25 cycles. He published >150 peer-reviewed research articles, review articles, book chapters, and proceeding abstracts as well as delivered >150 oral presentations in the areas of oncogene-associated signaling pathways, breast cancer carcinogenesis and intervention, urinary bladder cancer therapeutics, and molecular virology.
